Purpose of the Tool
This tool is intended for the non-binding calculation and comparison of operating costs between electric vehicles and combustion-engine vehicles. The results serve as orientation only and do not replace individual professional advice.
Basis of Calculations
All results are based on the values entered by the user as well as on pre-set example values (slider defaults for consumption, electricity/fuel price, mileage, etc.). The pre-set values are intended as starting points only and do not represent verified market statistics, entering your own values before each calculation is recommended. In individual cases, actual costs may differ significantly, since individual factors such as driving behavior, vehicle condition, regional price differences, maintenance, insurance, taxes, depreciation, charging losses and base fees are not fully reflected.
No Warranty
The calculations are provided with care, but may be affected by incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated inputs and example values. No warranty for accuracy, completeness, or timeliness is provided to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.

Advertising and Recommendations
EVSpend currently contains no advertising and no affiliate links. If recommendations or references to external providers are introduced in the future, individual links may be marked as affiliate links through which the operator may receive a commission upon contract conclusion. Charging Losses for EVs
Depending on the source of the entered consumption value, charging losses may already be included or may occur in addition. EVSpend does not add a flat loss percentage. For a more realistic estimate, use total consumption measured at the electricity meter or an appropriately adjusted consumption value whenever possible.
